Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation, a suitable inlet is essential. The M3/M4 does not have any intake ducts in the front bumper ex works like the M2 Competition. What your car does have, however, are 2 radiators behind the bumper on the side! So why not use the existing airflow?

In order to prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch after the radiators, we have developed a guide duct that can be installed with minimal effort and guides the air around the wheel and a connection via a 40 cm long hose (per side) to the outlet connects. Our tests have shown that this does not create significant back pressure behind the radiator and in the event of extreme speeds and increasing pressure, the channels do not present any obstacles to the escaping air behind the radiator.

Air duct outlet:

For many vehicles (including the F80/F82), brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, even outside the racetrack. This not only improves braking performance, but also drastically reduces wear on the friction partners. Our anchor plate uses the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we target the windscreen at a defined angle in order to avoid any wastage and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. Thanks to the lightweight construction in combination with powdered aluminum, the anchor plate is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive. In addition, the bearings closest to the brake disc are shielded from heat to increase their service life (if necessary).
