MINTEX RED 'OE SPEC' BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The Mintex Red range delivers an OE spec brake pad compound specifically engineered to meet the braking requirements of almost every vehicle on the road today. Mintex Red combines the best performance characteristics of both semi-metallic and ceramic friction to deliver consistent stopping distances, low noise and dust emissions, along with excellent fade and recovery characteristics.

MINTEX M1144 BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The M1144 compound is designed to work well from cold and is R90 compliant making it ideal for fast road and light track use. The M1144 compound delivers a medium torque level with a coefficient of friction of just over 0.4. Its not too aggressive on brake discs, is low noise, and a good improvement over OEM compounds. With medium fade resistance and good pedal modulation, the M1144 compound proves to be an all round pad which won?t need any more bedding in than a standard road pad. These work well from

MINTEX M1155 BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The Mintex M1155 Compound has been designed for the track. The M1155 has a medium friction level of just over 0.4 which is available at temperatures from 200-500?C. With a flat friction curve, the braking performance remains stable at any temperature, giving the driver confidence at any point of a race or stage. With positive brake pressure modulation and a high fade resistance up to 600?C, the M1155 compound is ideal for Group A and Group N Rally cars. The M1155 lacks feel when cold so ideally is suited to a race environment where the brakes are worked hard. We find this needs a few braking attempts to be at its best so is not suited for the road.

MINTEX M1166 BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The M1166 is purely for competition use and is produced to work from cold and keep on working until hot, while holding its friction level, the M1166 compound has been designed to provide consistent braking performance. With an optimum working temperature between 200?C and 400?C but stable until 700?C, this compound works well in long distance events where the demands on the braking system do not reach high temperatures. Positive pressure modulation and stable braking performance make this compound suitable for saloon car endurance racing, single seater and sportscar use.

MINTEX F2R BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The F2R compound is a high torque material with a lower initial bite. This compound provides great pedal feel and improved sensitivity. This compound is used extensively in NASCAR, saloon and sports car racing including shorter endurance races.

MINTEX F4R BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

The F2R compound is a high torque material with a high initial bite. This compound is designed for vehicles with high downforce or very high grip. F4R pads are particularly good when fitted to cars with high weight, yet limited pad / disc size

MINTEX F6R BRAKE PAD COMPOUND

Mintex's F6R compound uses a medium to low torque torque material designed for high temperature applications This is primarilly used in NASCAR, Endurance, Rally and open wheel formulas
