Corbeau are proud to introduce a full range of FIA 8853-2016 harnesses for the serious racer where safety and weight are paramount.

With the introduction of the new FIA 8853-2016 standard, the Ultima-Pro Black edition harnesses have been re-engineered bringing them up to the latest specification and adding more user friendly features.

Using the latest lightweight webbing, lightweight aluminium adjusters for a smoother faster and secure adjustment on the shoulder straps, coupled with a lightweight magnesium alloy release box with a newly designed tang guide, gives the driver assured positioning to insert the shoulder and lap straps first time and in the correct position.

These cutting edge components all add up to a significant weight saving when compared to a standard race harness, while maintaining full FIA approval.

The Corbeau F2026 is specifically designed for use in Single Seater/Formula race cars, with speed and lightweight properties at its very core.

Differing from our Ultima Pro harnesses, the crutch straps are secured to the lap straps using high tensile eyelets; greatly reducing time when buckling in, by securing the shoulder and lap straps only to the quick release box.

Fitting

Fitting instructions are included with all of our Harnesses, please read through the information prior to fitting your Harness.

We strongly advise having your Harness fitted by trained mechanical personnel. All mounting bolts should be secured to withstand a 2,000kgs loading.
