A Very common failure with the S65 engine, due to insufficient?tolerances from the factory the S65 rod bearings are prone to premature wear leading to a costly rebuild or catastrophic engine failure.
We provide an uprated bearing service consisting of :
Uprated Big end bearings
OE Rod Bolts
Sump Gasket
Oil & Filter change
We have customers travelling from all over the UK & Europe for this service, there is a Travelodge located within 5 minutes of our HQ.
The car is required for 2 days due to the time required to correctly measure the crankshaft & bearings.
ARP Rod bolts can be fitted in replacement of OE
We also advise replacement of engine mounts as often we find these have separated and can cause unfavoured engine movement under acceleration/deceleration
